Shabason is a thanatologist (specialist in grief
and bereavement, death and dying) and an artist.She works in hospice/palliative care as
an educator and as a volunteer. She is an active
member of the Caledon Hills Studio Adventure
artist group.

businesses in Canada.He is a coach and leadership development
facilitator and an active hospice volunteer. He is
currently writing his dissertation toward a Doctor of
Ministry, looking at poetry as a response to dying and
grieving.
